Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do you charge?
A: $750 for 6 hours. Always call for exact quote. If you need more time, we charge $75 per hour.
Q: Do you play all types of music?
A: Yes. Any decent disc jockey service knows to provide this. Remember people basically only dance to songs they know and like. Your event is not a good time for musical "experiments" by our disc jockeys.
Q: Can we pick some of our own music?
A: Absolutely! We certainly need to know in advance of "special songs", and requests. We ask you for them. Any specific songs you really don't want? Let us know. Please, don't attempt to select ALL the music to be played.
Q: What do you wear?
A: We use the rule: "dress as well as the guests". If it's a wedding reception or more formal event, dress shirts and slacks, etc. Beach Party? Obviously more casual. Tuxedos for weddings? You might want to leave that honor to the wedding party.
Q: What kind of equipment and lights do you have?
A: Commercial grade sound and lighting, CD quality sound, and put together is a highly maintained sound booth with no ugly exposed wires. Please try to leave a 12' wide by 6' deep space for us to work in.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A:Yes. $200 within 2 weeks of you receiving the contract. Make sure of the date, your deposit is NOT transferable or refundable.
Q: What in general are your disc-jockeys like?
A: We could say "dignified DJ's" but that sounds stuffy. We're just not "goofy", more professionally presented. We're fun! We'll do our very best to get people dancing and having fun.
Q: Any other Advice?
A: Yes, you will find cheaper disc jockeys if you call around. Check the references of all you hire. Cross reference them with one another. And RELAX. You've planned the party, learned to trust the professionals you hired, have fun and let them do their job for you. You deserve it!
